Cake Pop


Yes I am in my car. At the longest stop light in New Jersey. I made these cake pops last night. Everyone was raving about then on Pinterest, but I’m not convinced. I think it is because I do not like white chocolate and these little devils are covered in the stuff. However, the insides are delicious so I can only imagine what a chocolate version would taste like. Here’s the recipe in case you want to try these little tasties yourself.

Cake Pops

One box of whatever cake mix you want, prepared as it calls for on the box.

2 Cups of Icing

14 oz White Chocolate Coating Candies (Or regular white chocolate and about a tablespoon of oil)

Lollipop sticks

Floral Foam Block

Sprinkles or Toppings to suit your fancy.

It’s so simple… Bake the cake as it says on the box. Let it cool. Add the icing. Roll into ball. Freeze for 30 minutes or put in the fridge for an hour. Dip the stick in the chocolate, push 2/3 of the way into the ball, dip in chocolate. Let the excess chocolate fall off and stick in a floral foam block. Add your toppings. Let cool. SO EASY and super cute.
